| Welcome to Easy Kayaking...we specialize in short, informative, and affordable kayak tours that people from 9 to 90 can do. We also offer an excellent kayaking class. (If you've thought about kayaking, and would like to learn about lessons to increase your skill and confidence, click here.) Kayaking Tours We offer a wide number of kayak tours throughout Florida. There are many beautiful local areas which lend themselves to short kayak tours, and lots of hot spots for photographers, birdwatchers, etc. We also show you how to kayak so you'll enjoy the tour even if you have never kayaked before. We also go at a comfortable pace! Want to paddle the Mangrove tunnels? You can! Kayak the Myakka, Peace or Manatee Rivers; go fossil hunting; see dolphin or manatees; enjoy an evening or moonlight paddle, or kayak with us to learn about the eco-system. We do it all! Most of our tours are between Charlotte Harbor and Tampa Bay. For a tour in Venice, Lido Key, Sarasota, Englewood, Longboat Key, or near Bradenton, call us! We also have wonderful kayak tours on many of the clear spring-fed rivers throughout Northern Florida. For costs and descriptions of our tours, just click Tours. Check these points when doing your planning! A) "How many people are on the tour?" We like tours without the crowds and prefer small, high quality tours of 8 people maximum. We pay attention to each person. This makes a difference to you, your kids, and us. Some tour companies take groups of 20, 30 or more. We know small tours are safer, more relaxing and you learn more. B)"Where do you go?" We plan our tours around your interests and can usually go where you want, or offer locations you may like even more. We prefer touring a wide number of waterways. We don't put dozens on people on the same short route day after day...that's very profitable for a tour company, but is not as enjoyable for clients, and it causes more impact on the wildlife and habitats being toured. Don't be short changed..get the tour best for you. C)"How much?" Save some cash- we give a great tour but usually cost a little less as our overhead is low. Most of our business comes from word-of-mouth advertising. People who take our tours enjoy them, return for another tour with us, and then send their friends to kayak with us. (Thanks!) We try to give you more than your money's worth. D) We love what we do. We aren't out to get EVERY person on our tour, just to satisfy every person we tour. E) Our tours are in shallow saltwater areas or rivers that are noted for their scenery or wildlife. You'll like them! Please look at the pictures on the site. F) Our tours and classes use quality kayaks & are led by an experienced kayaker who knows the area. He teaches kayak safety, & is Red Cross trained in First Aid and CPR. He's friendly and will help you enjoy the tour. G) If you have children who are curious about their surroundings, kayaking is extroverting and can increase their skills, their confidence, and interest in life. And it's FUN for them!
