| Welcome to Easy Kayaking...we specialize in short, informative, and affordable kayak tours that people from 9 to 90 can do. We also offer an excellent kayaking class. There are many beautiful areas which lend themselves to short affordable kayak tours, and lots of hot spots for birders, photographers, etc. We also show you how to kayak so you'll enjoy the tour even if you have never kayaked before. And we go at a comfortable pace! Want to paddle the Mangrove tunnels? You can! Or kayak the Myakka, Peace, Manatee or Santa Fe rivers; go fossil hunting; see dolphin or manatee swimming; enjoy an evening or moonlight paddle, or kayak with us to learn about the eco-system. Join us for some easy kayaking! Most of our tours are between Charlotte Harbor and Tampa Bay. Check these points when doing your planning! A) "How many people are on the tour?" We like tours without the crowds and prefer small, high quality tours of 8 people maximum. We pay attention to each person. This makes a difference to you, your kids, and us. Some tour companies take groups of 20, 30 or more! We know small tours are safer, more relaxing and you learn more. Plus, you can hear what's being said! B)"Where do you go?" We plan our tours around your interests and can usually go where you want, or offer locations you may like even more. We prefer touring a wide number of waterways. We don't put dozens on people on the same short route day after day...that's extremely profitable for a tour company, but is often crowded and less enjoyable for paddlers. It also increases impact on the wildlife and habitats being toured. Don't get short changed...get the best tour you can. C)"How much?" Save some cash- we give a great tour but usually cost a little less as our overhead is low. Most of our business comes by word-of-mouth. People who take our tours enjoy them, often return for another tour with us, and then send their friends to kayak with us. (Thanks!) We try to give you more than your money's worth. We don't create big marketing / advertising bills, then pass those costs on to you. To us, having quality kayaks and providing better service is the right thing to do. We operate at a smaller scale and can still afford to have great equipment and excellent service. D) We love what we do. We aren't out to get EVERY person on our tour, just to satisfy every person we tour. E) Our tours are in shallow saltwater areas or rivers that are noted for their scenery or wildlife. You'll like them! Please look at the pictures on the site. F) Our tours and classes use quality kayaks & are led by an experienced kayaker who knows the area. He teaches kayak safety, and is Red Cross trained in First Aid and CPR. He's friendly and will help you enjoy the tour. For a good time, call Easy Kayaking.
