Easy Kayaking is in Venice, Florida and provides interesting tours you'll enjoy
for years to come. We soffer a kayaking class that lets you kayak confidently.
The following rules maintain a safe atmosphere that allows training or tours to
continue on schedule, and help us provide the best service we can. The terms
and conditions of service are below...please read them. They let me provide
better service to clients that schedule and arrive for the tour or training. The
rules also reduce energy spent on people who reserve our time and services
and then don't show up or even call us to cancel. ("Ryan, where ARE you?")
The tours are relaxing, educational and entertaining. The training is done
gradiently, so you learn rapidly and gain competence. Before long, you'll be
able to kayak and have confidence in your skills.
1. The delivery of services is contingent on your being physically healthy,
sound of mind and able to follow instructions.
2. NO pets can be included on the tours or in training. This is for THEIR
protection, and reduces distractions on the tour or training. Please make other
arrangements for them that keep them safe.
3. There are containers for litter at every launch site, please use them.
4. Information on kayaking is delivered to improve your basic kayaking skills
and your ability to kayak safely in normal conditions. The session is not
intended to be an advanced series of lessons for an expert paddler.
5. ALL participants are to WEAR a personal flotation device (PFD) and a
marine whistle, bell or horn while learning kayaking or safety procedures.
Florida State law requires every kayak to have them. At night, each kayak must
have a working white light which can be used to signal other craft.
6. The tours are tailored to your interests and will be delivered per the agreed
upon schedule. Birding or wildlife tours, general photography tours or others,
are designed to place you in areas likely to satisfy your interests. We cannot
guarantee that birds or other wildlife will appear, or that certain plants will be in
bloom, etc. ( Please do not feed or threaten the wildlife you see).
7. We reserve the right to postpone the tour or training session if a
life-threatening situation arises: a medical emergency, unsafe local waters,
hazardous weather conditions, unforeseen threats, etc. We will deliver the
service as soon as conditions return to normal.
8. Payment in full is made at or before the start of the tour or training. We
accept credit cards via Paypal. Cash, personal checks, traveler's checks or
money orders are fine also. Please see the Payments page for more info.
9. The length of a tour or training session will not be extended once started, to
prevent scheduling conflicts. If you decide to limit the activity after it begins, no
refunds can be given as our time has been scheduled. Most people truly enjoy
the time spent on the tours or classes, and we think you will too!
10. If you have reserved a tour or training, required us to rent a kayak for you,
and then cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled activity, your deposit will be
kept by Easy Kayaking. If possible, please keep the agreed upon schedule.
We hope that you learn from the tour, and have gotten more from the training
than you expected. Being able to rescue yourself or help assist another person
is a great benefit to everyone. We want you able to kayak confidently, safely,
and to help others enjoy paddling as well.
